Crown Window Tint was born from the owner Colin and his passion for window film. Colin caught the tint bug in 2008 when he began training to tint at a retail location in Orem Utah. This passion has taken him across the country and back again to Texas. He has tinted for dealerships and retail tint shops in South Carolina, all over Texas, Utah and Sacramento, CA.
In December of 2020 Colin and his wife Heather decided it was time they open their own shop. Colin previously worked for XPEL at their Austin location since early 2019 and Tint World in Hutto prior to that. Colin has many years of retail and dealership experience tinting cars of all kinds. He worked as a tint competition judge for XPEL at their February 2020 Dealer Conference.
Through the years he has been lucky to have the mentorship of many 20 and 30 year veterans in the industry. He has worked at some amazing shops, with amazing installers and the skills he has learned over the course of his career he continues to add to. It doesn’t matter if you have a Ferrari, Tesla or Corolla he will treat them all with the same respect and quality installation.
